About

April 2008 I come to Taiwan for a conference. After I visited the country and also two other "chinese" territories - Hong Kong and Macau. Each of the three has a different official languages (Taiwanese, Cantonese, English and Portuguese), different flag, different money (in Macau HKD is the one used, Patacas were not visible), different visa restritions. But supposely they are all part of Republic of People of China. Are they?

End of August 2008, Eva and me went to Bulgaria for two weeks. We traveled around by bus and train, starting in Sofia and went all the way to the Black sea and back.

About

Eleven days in Scotland, by train, bus, bicycle and car. We cycled 3 days; climbed Ben Nevis (1'344m), the highest point in Stocland; visited a whisky distillery, saw Loch Ness (and the monster).
